Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) agents said 11 men have been arrested in a human trafficking operation in Tennessee last week.

The two-day undercover operation in Jackson yielded 11 men being arrested on various charges linked to a fake online sex ad.

Investigators said the undercover operation started on Aug. 26 and focused on addressing human trafficking in West Tennessee. Authorities placed several decoy advertisements on websites known to be linked to prostitution and commercial sex cases.

Investigators were hoping to identify and recover possible victims of sex trafficking and sought to identify those seeking sexual acts with minors.

As a result of the operation, authorities arrested 11 men and booked them into Madison County or Chester County Jail on $100,000 bonds. A judge lowered the bond for one suspect, Gene Depriest, to $10,000.

The investigation remains ongoing, with additional charges pending.
